Commission Information
When referring to a specific image that you see on the site, please refer to the Catalogue # located directly beneath the image.
Catalogue formula example: LT22s - (Landscape, tree, # of image, small original (less than 12" x 12" ) SP2L - (Still Life, Pear, # of image, Large original (measuring 20" x 20" to as large as 72" x 72")  About 50% of Waldron's work is by private commission. Developing site-specific work for private homes, offices or public spaces is a challenge that Waldron enjoys and has been doing for more than 20 years. A private commission works as follows: Client and artist meet to look at the location where the painting will be hung. Size and price are discussed and agreed upon. If necessary, fabrics and wall colors are provided to the artist. Payment is usually made in 2 payments. A 50% up front fee is requested to begin the project along with your order request in writing to reserve time and cover supplies and materials. Waldron then paints a small color mock up of the painting(s) which is presented to the client to show the color and compositional direction. The balance is due upon delivery of the finished painting.
